Found myself wondering about Momus' canon the other day as I was listening to Voyager, which incidentally sounds a tad dated but still absolutely lovely.

The other day the word "Ultraconformist" was stuck in my head and I couldn't remember what it was from. "Isn't that a Joe Satriani album or something", I kept thinking.

Bah how could I leave out Hippopotamomus? I really like that record!! Ventriloquists and Dolls, Marquis of Sadness etc etc. It's as though I hypnotised myself into not mentioning it.

Ah well, if you want to vote for Hipp... just say so, and we'll count up the votes separately, I suppose.

I own ten of these, but I voted for Tender Pervert. I love the tinny production and the themes and reference points in the lyrics: [off the top of my head] sex, sexuality, jealousy, death, vulnerability, Mishima, etc etc.
