This will make some people happy.
― Nate Carson, Tuesday, 29 September 2009 10:05 (fifteen years ago)
Indeed. "R.I.P. (Rock In Peace)" is sooo awesome.
― Thijs, Tuesday, 29 September 2009 10:17 (fifteen years ago)
The deluxe edition comes packaged in a working amp. That will fit nicely into an Ikea CD rack.

It's screwy that the regular 2 cd/1 dvd version cuts six tracks off the first disc - no Australian edits or "Who Made Who" 12" mix. It's nice that they're finally acknowledging these missing tracks, but the way they're doing it is some major BS.
― EZ Snappin, Tuesday, 29 September 2009 14:25 (fifteen years ago)
hey, is "Baby Please Don't Go" the only cover song they ever recorded?
― Brio, Tuesday, 29 September 2009 16:02 (fifteen years ago)
"School Days" is a Chuck Berry tune (originally on the Australian T.N.T., released everywhere else on Bonfire).
― EZ Snappin, Tuesday, 29 September 2009 16:07 (fifteen years ago)
this thing needs the Dave Evans tracks!
― Plunge Protection Team, Tuesday, 29 September 2009 17:03 (fifteen years ago)
I absolutely love how AC/DC, now on its second boxed set, has yet to release a best-of Good for you, AC/DC!
― Josh in Chicago, Tuesday, 29 September 2009 17:07 (fifteen years ago)
I would buy a boxset of the original aussie LPs remastered
― 鬼の手 (Edward III), Tuesday, 29 September 2009 17:09 (fifteen years ago)

<3 <3 <3
― 鬼の手 (Edward III), Tuesday, 29 September 2009 17:12 (fifteen years ago)
There was such a thing available in Australia alone at one time, although I don't know if the LPs were actually "remastered" ..:

Yes to remaster of original Aussie LPs.
I want Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap with Jailbreak as the last track. That's how it SHOULD be. None of this Jailbreak EP garbage.

I have the Australian versions of the early albums on my iPod already, and no place to stick a big cumbersome box (said the guy who's likely gonna buy that 70-CD Miles box later this year).
― neither good nor bad, just a kid like you (unperson), Tuesday, 29 September 2009 21:13 (fifteen years ago)
uh, what's the 70 CD Miles box?
― Plunge Protection Team, Tuesday, 29 September 2009 21:25 (fifteen years ago)
Like the complete Columbia years, its pretty jaw-dropping in scope. Already hinted as what I want for Christmas.

btw, Amazon actually has the pre-order priced waaaaaaay cheaper than what's listed in that article.

It’s A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock ‘N’ Roll)
Is this the Fed Square version, or just the back-of-a-truck version again?
― edwardo notuomo (sic), Wednesday, 30 September 2009 01:26 (fifteen years ago)
love the comments in that box set link above
― sleeve, Wednesday, 30 September 2009 05:17 (fifteen years ago)

― VegemiteGrrrl, Wednesday, 30 September 2009 05:31 (fifteen years ago)
