Heard 'Songs' this week; LOVE it. So so so good. So now downloading The Forest Of My Mind which I hear is less Bill Fayish than Songs but still meant to be pretty great.

Info on him seems to be incredibly scarce though considering at least 2 or 3 records came out on Warner. Any other fans about who can give me some exciting nerdy info / recommendations on other lps?

no. it shouldn't be. find a mint vinyl copy for five bucks and have someone transfer it to cd for you if you don't have a turntable.

anyhoo, first album is best, but a minor dude overall. and his walking in the forest of my mind isn't nearly as good as bonzo dog band's canyons of your mind.

Can we talk about these obscure 70s singer-songwriters featured in the newest Record Collector Magazine (and others if you wish)

i know andy votel is a fan too. he put one of his (funkier) songs on this comp.
