This thread is doomed to be snickered at and forgotten, but I picked up a free (discarded) copy of a 2004 Ming + FS promo mix CD the other day and, I'm enjoying it a hell of a lot. It's called Heightened Security and consists of familiar early 00s hip-hop vocals plunked down on top of serviceable/banging drum n bass tracks. Clipse, Biggie, Missy (yeah, Get Ur Freak On...), Jay-Z, Method & Red, etc. Dated as hell, but the combination's a lot of fun, and there's a certain nostalgic appeal. Probably helps immeasurably that I spend zero time engaged with this kind of stuff on any kind of regular basis...
