My friend in high school owned this video, and I could not convince anyone of its existence since. But, guys, it's on youtube and it's real. Please share this nightmare with me.

that is profoundly disturbing.

I managed to handle it until about two and a half minutes in, ie, 3 seconds into the first song.

Obviously in 1985 people thought that the best way to get kids to take more exercise was to get them to sit in front of the TV.

Even after enduring the first two songs, it still blows my mind that they thought "Bears Are Alive" would be a clever chorus for "Stayin' Alive."

It cuts out early – the tape has one more song, not Bee Gees based. It's a bear rapping in that same fake Mickey Mouse voice about how he loves America, imo the highlight of the piece.

oh man that would be horrifying.

I am still in awe that they try to pull off letting all the layers load, slowly, as animation.

This is about as "animated" as Teletext.

if I continue watching this, my head is going to turn into a teddy bear a la "Halloween 3", right

I mean how is this not an SNL skit

ADVANCED CHORD CHANGES (HI DERE), Thursday, 29 October 2009 20:10 (sixteen years ago)

I wonder if the ppl who performed in this actually put it on their resumes

I love that the credits attribute the "concept" to A. Bill Comeau. A. Bill Comeau, please find this via google & tell me...why? what? how? ....why?

"Script & Lyrics: B. Comeau & V. Pasternak." Please let that be a relation to Boris Pasternak.

Also, great dietary advice: "You should eat those... green things, and, you know, the orange things that grow on trees."

Love the big introduction of the video company that kicks things off: AVG. I mean, with a name like average, you know it's got to be good.
