Has Chino Moreno's voice changed over the years?

Well....this is a pretty obvious question but why exactly did his voice change on every Deftones album?? His gaining of weight may have contributed to the change on the album white pony. But...His voice even sounds a little different from adrenaline on Around the fur. Does this make any sense?? well.....what im kind of tryin to ask is...do you think he tried to change his voice or did it happen on accident or something???

Yes, his voice has gone from "meaningless," "banal," "trivial," and "devoid of merit" to "utterly irrelevant," "laughably insignificant" and "abjectly bereft of originality."

Listening to the Deftones is tantamount to adhering oneself to a restrictive diet that consists solely of neon-colored dry cereal, disregaring a vast, planet-sized menu of implausibly superior options.

well....ummmm...that was a very interesting response...

The Deftones like Depeche, the Smiths and the Cure = the Deftones are quite all right.

Ned Raggett, Monday, 8 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

The Deftones are excellent. Tied with Hella for best band out of Sacramento!

The Deftones covered "The Chauffeur"!! They're cool in my book.

''The Deftones like Depeche, the Smiths and the Cure = the Deftones are quite all right.''

no, it doesn't make it alright!

''The Deftones covered "The Chauffeur"!! They're cool in my book.''

Tonite the deftones are the worst band evah.

Julio Desouza, Monday, 8 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

no, it doesn't make it alright!

Nonsense. :-) See, the thing is: they show those influences in their own way, often to great effect.

"no, it doesn't make it alright!"

I am noticing that...

"Tonite the deftones are the worst band evah."

...all Julio's posts follow the same template.

Anyone who does not respect Duran Duran's finest demends an explanation. Why is it a good song, you ask? BECUZ ITS SEXY

Keiko, Monday, 8 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

keiko- I am merely following yr template. yes no prizes given for originality but I don't care. My hate is blind and irrational.

''Nonsense. :-) See, the thing is: they show those influences in their own way, often to great effect.''

don't you mean that there is a relationship. Oh fuck this...yes, they may be influenced but it's all nice, comfortable 'rock'. they should jam a little, it might do 'em good.

Julio Desouza, Monday, 8 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I wouldn't really call The Deftones "nice, comfortable rock", particularly since they introduced the detuned claustrophobic clatter that Korn has founded their career upon to radio listeners.

OPO: The Deftones

What are your favorite bands that begin with "Def"?

Deftones: S&D

Deftones: C or D?

DOES ANYBODY IN THIS BITCH LIKE THE DEFTONES!?!!
