dunno how to approach this poll, the answer is 'slow jamz' but it feels like a bit like cheating.

(especially so if i were to be irrelevant and bring the collipark mix into proceedings, ooh lord)

"blame it" has been my top song of 09 since the minute i heard it and i think it's an utter classic in the 2000s pop canon

"slow jamz" is of course an unimpeachable classic, "just like me" & "unpredictable" are really good too

alright i'm getting really tired of bangladesh

ok so after the 7th time of hearing this 'speak french' thing i feel no closer to knowing it than when i did the first. it is impressively engrossing in a grisly sort of way though.....? on the other hand str8-up tell me it's bullshit and i'd probly be like "duh oh yeah so it is" tbh.

i don't quite get the "yawn bangladesh again" reaction though, me even getting to the end of one of his songs this year let alone replaying it must constitute some sort of improvement

i fuck with "Successful" but these similar Drake/40 songs are ehhhh to me. also "Living Better Now" > "Fall For Your Type" as far as singles off this album.

how the fuck did they put out two singles after "blame it" and neither was "number one"

because "Number One" was actually the single they were pushing right before "Blame It" blew up instead -- it'd be great if they went back and tried to promote "Number One" again after "Blame It" ran its course but i guess they wanted to focus on something 'new' like that shitty "Digital Girl" remix

they should've put "number one" back on this most recent album and made it a single

so yesterday, articles flying all over the place saying Foxx was still in the hospital and the family is 'preparing for the worst" (i.e., death), today meanwhile his daughter said he's been out of the hospital for weeks and is doing fine.

really reminiscent of the "Lil Wayne has been given last rites, it's only a matter of time" to him being released and just fine the next day, although in these situations you never know what really happened and frankly it isn't our business.

happy to hear he seems to be doing alright.
