Help me become a prog/metal DJ in three days

Please review and explain the prog/metal mix one of my math students just gave me.">This student asked me to join him on his prog/metal college radio show later this week. In fact I know nothing about prog or metal except that I used to listen to a lot of '70s Yes when I was a kid. I plan to go down to the station a bit early, listen to bits and pieces of some records, and try to pick out stuff that sounds good to me. But I don't know where to start. Please suggest things a mostly-cornie-indie listener who likes 70s Yes might enjoy playing on a prog/metal show, and which are likely to be acceptable to the guy who made the mix described in the previous thread.

Play some Voivod and some Van der Graaf Generator and everyone will be impressed.

Yeah, Voivod for sure.

Play some of the newer throwback prog bands, like Blood Ceremony, the Devil's Blood, Litmus, Astra, Zombi. Maybe even some stuff from the last Jarboe record.
