eleanor whitmore!
i'm so jazzed for this; sounds like it's kind of a kind of sketchier XI grab-bag, right?

rap band (schlump), Monday, 23 November 2009 22:02 (sixteen years ago)

ummmmm not really? much sketchier than XI, and even the jammers arent in as consistent a direction as those on XI. i mean, i like both very much, but this one sounds a lot more lo-fi than any other howling hex ive ever heard. i would guess that doesnt represent a bowing to trend as much as it does a slightly tossed-off record.

HAVING SAID THAT (did anyone see curb yr enthus last night), it's very interesting and there's cool sounds/songs buried in here.

ah o k. stuff i'd read made it sound like a collection of what they had that hadn't fit into one of the previous records. like another spoken word thing maybe??

anyway as soon as i come across a copy i'll repor back

its mostly music, but a little spoken-word...

one year passes...

No matter who you were then, everyone's in luck because, almost 15 years after its original publication, Victory Chimp is back on the brain, retooled and upgraded. This isn't a midnight movie and the good don't die young. You'll never experience an audio book like this, but will you be able to ever read Tom Clancy again? These are questions better left to...VICTORY CHIMP.
