I looked at the soundtrack and it wasn't on there, and I can't find a stream of the movie to ID it. There was this one part where this guy is surrounded b keyboards and he's doing this wicked proggy disco type solo. The video looked like it was from the 70s. Does anyone remember this? Who was that?

That Kalehoff clip is exactly as it appear in the documentary. I don't think there's anything else in the film that matches your description.
