Been getting into "This / That Pagan Thing", "Origami" and "Downtime" again this week, (mainly 'cos they were the first things I loaded up onto TouchDJ) but seriously still enjoying them.

'Downtime' is a seriously great record. Bizarrely the last time I sighted it was in the middle of a recent Magda mix - not the first place I'd expect to hear a Brit house classic.

My first introduction to these records was the High in a Basement comp which I absolutely loved at the time. The Idjut's 'Jazz Fuk' still a classic in my book.

I still get nostalgic for some of these records although they don't all hold up these days. Picked up the Toko Records comp in a bargain bin the other day - which is just ok.

I wonder what Si Brad is up to these days. Along with Eastwick and a few others, he seemed to be behind half of these releases (and not just on Toko). Anyway, I'm rambling.

Yeah ditto for High In The Basement for being my first nu-Brit-House taster.

What's the name of the Magda mix / where can I hear it online?
