That was alright I thought. Haven't heard any Weller for years, so maybe he's been doing this sort of thing for a while, but this sounds to me like he's been listening to SF Sorrow-era Pretty Things.

Also, I don't know what he's on about, but I like that he still sings lines like 'curse those fuckers in the castles, they're all bastards too'.

Is "Wake Up the Nation" just not selling in the US or something? It's fucking amazing. Best Bowie album since Scary Monsters, in parts (not all of them). Wondering if he's one of these people who's too well known in the UK and not well enough known in the US...

I pay very little attention to Weller, so only recently learned about the Simon Dine connection. Weird to hear Adventures In Stereo hitting the big time. Never liked the Jam.
