if you can find your way around hotline, it works a charm - though it's not p2p. i quite like limewire, though it's not good on the scale of napster et al.

I agree with Limewire. Soulseek is possible, but it's too much work for me. I can't be arsed to install all the programs to get it working.

still in development but already 5 ZILLION times better than Limewire. I'll just say it once: it's not written in Java. Finds about 20 times the files that Limewire does. Also it follows all OS X conventions and looks (and feels) very smart indeed. 70% of files don't work, sadly, but I think that's more due to the vicissitudes of gnutella than anything else.
