Destroy, that post Boss Drum ambient album - even Orbus Terrarum is better than that nonsense.

Boss Drum though is marvellous as anyone who was at my last birthday party and heard John's rewind-selector treatment of "LSI" would surely agree.

Then I went off to college, and what happens. Nothing.

The song "Boss Drum" is so fantastic.

I went on a minor youtube Shamen spree after posting in the other thread. Boss Drum is indeed fantastic. I also remembered how much I love Omega Amigo. I have a strong emotional connection to En-Tact (that has nothing to do with clubs - it was one of 3 CDs that I owned when I was stuck in military technical school in the middle of nowhere). I literally had nothing else to do outside of work other than smoke, jog, read and listen to those three CDs.

Search: an audio recording of the 'Live USA version' of Make It Mine. I've been looking for this since the song came out 2 decades ago. When I lived in the Seattle area, there was a radio station that played this version, and once in a while I would see the video on TV which played this version. To me, this is the 'official' version of the song that I remember so fondly.
I bought the album, when I was a young adolescent, but it had a different version. I bought the CD single. It didn't have the right version. I bought a cutout of the remix EP released by The Face magazine. No dice. It's not even on Soulseek! Just a BBC session with a similar name.

Hm. I thought I had it but clearly not! DJP?
Also for DJP and everyone, THIS might produce some amazing flashbacks. Also, Will Sin and no Mr. C!

i agree they were pretty overrated, though move any mountain was a decent single. this is lush though, and has aged surprisingly well:

I like the stuff from when they were just becoming enamoured with technology, so before Mr C who i'm far from a fan of.
She's Shitting on Britain, Christopher Mayhew Says etc is the stuff I like. Think it was compiled on a mini lp for US consumption.
Maybe even earlier is good too. Don't think I've heard any Aloneagainor their previous incarnation before their name change.
just remembered that somebody put me up in Edinburgh one time and the room turned out to have been the one that Will had lived in previously.

I feel like generations hundreds of years hence will have difficulty in qualitatively distinguishing between that Hyperreal vid and Wookiefoot.
