This is a great album top to bottom, but Long Time Coming is next level.

this was such an amazing album, and then what happened?

have been looking at things like this on youtube, and thinking they could have had all the hype that late of the pier got, had they only come around a few years later. the synth thing did seem to sit uncomfortably on them, tho

I voted for Nearer than Heaven as the first time I heard it I thought Geneva had made a comeback, which is a good thing in my books.

I really wanted the second album to be as amazing as the lead single was. Valentine is still one of my favourite singles of the decade. Also I loved Lost in a Melody it's so much better than nearly all of that second album. I wanted them to follow through on that electro pop direction but they only did on those two singles and Lillian which was wasted as an album track.
