trying to make a famous synth sound (Colonel Abrams Not gonna let you)

Hello, haven't seen me for a long time. Well I am the proud owner of a PSR-290 Yamahas
keyboard which is midi'ed into a VST. I have a prophet 5 simulator and yet to find a dx-7 one.

Here's a question.

How do you go about creating the stabby delay infused panning main synth sound from
Colonel Abrams "I'm not gonna let you" I have a SCP5 freeway synth which basically
simulates a prophet 5. I can get a flat stabby sound. I'm trying to find out how to
get it to pan from left to right.

Any Ideas?

if you are happy with the basic sound you could let do the panning some plugin, say timeless, or volcano by fabfilter. a lot of fun btw
afaik FM8 by native intruments is the 'best' dx-7 soft emu. they had novemberspecials til 30th nov :/
