world of twist is a band i know nothing about but they are referenced in "London Belongs to Me" and by a few articles I have read. The All Music Guide lists one ep and has no other information. who are they and what have they released? thanks

British, 1985-92. Upbeat retro-styled pop with glam influences (others will describe it better). Said to have influenced the modern Pulp, but it's not apparent in what I've heard. And Simon Reynolds seems to like them.
