I recall an R&B dance single from the 60's/70's during which the singer exhorted his listeners to "gimme just a little more, give it here" (or something roughly like that. (No, I don't mean "Give Me Just A Little More Time," an entirely distinct song.) I associated it with Joe Tex, but I'm not coming up with a single of his that fits.
As I say, soul/R&B, Stax style, if not Joe Tex conceivably Rufus Thomas; but I'm drawing a blank.

Yes, Clones Of, that's it. I thought I had checked that out, but evidently had skipped over it, or missed a click or something.
And yes, Brio; I felt stupid typing it out, since it was so obviously a standard phrase in the genre. But it was enough for Clones Of to help me, so I guess it all works out.
