Astonishing record. Does anyone have any info on when these tracks are from. Just says 'Live versions from her Colpix years.' Does that mean these were all pre 65-66 or what? Anyone else heard this album?
Also I love her live stuff. I read that Nuff Said was recorder just after MLK died and is good also Black Gold. Can anyone recommend a good live album. I like my Nina rough and raw and wailing.

Not all wailing, in fact my favorite moment is the ballad "Twelfth of Never", but Live at Carnegie Hall is a classic.

er, guess it's just called Nina Simone at Carnegie Hall. One of my favorite records of hers, a bit more on the restrained side though.

"I Get Along Without You Very Well" is my favorite thing she ever did

This is before 'In concert' right? Do you know the year?

Maybe too restrained. Sounds like I want those other records where she is not so reserved. Where she seems to be channeling some kind of demonic energy and anger etc..
