so much total garbage and stuff where Snoop's presence feels like an afterthought that has no effect on the quality of the song. still, he coasts along year after year with a weird kind of nonchalant grace that i admire.

"Welcome to Atlanta (Coast To Coast Remix)" (Jermaine Dupri feat. P. Diddy, Murphy Lee, & Snoop Dogg) (2002)

i know pretty much every word to this song, so this

waka shame (J0rdan S.), Wednesday, 27 January 2010 18:09 (sixteen years ago)

but everything i would vote -- "hollywood divorce", "holidae inn", "the streets", "i wanna fuck you" -- would work just as well w/o snoop. the one exception is "next episode"

waka shame (J0rdan S.), Wednesday, 27 January 2010 18:11 (sixteen years ago)

This is totally about "Next Episode"

yeah it felt almost unfair putting it there, thought about taking it out on a '99 album technicality

some dude, Wednesday, 27 January 2010 18:48 (sixteen years ago)

Is there a separate post-2000 Snoop singles poll btw?

I DO!

The answer is "The Next Episode" obv, but discounting that I'm tempted to vote for "Buttons (Remix)" actually...

Tim F, Wednesday, 27 January 2010 22:27 (sixteen years ago)

hahaha that was my exact thought process

struck through in my prime (HI DERE), Wednesday, 27 January 2010 22:40 (sixteen years ago)

i like the way snoop runs out of things to say on his "buttons" verse and just recites all their names for two lines

لوووووووووووووووووووول (lex pretend), Wednesday, 27 January 2010 22:41 (sixteen years ago)

Apparently I am sharing Tim and HI DERE's mind on this one.

you gone float up with it (jon /via/ chi 2.0), Wednesday, 27 January 2010 23:28 (sixteen years ago)

Still D.R.E. must've just fallen in the 90s I suppose.

BTW, I'm frightfully middle-class (chap), Wednesday, 27 January 2010 23:38 (sixteen years ago)

But failing that, definitely Next Episode.

the more i think about it the more i wish i had taken "Next Episode" off the options on a from-a-1999-album technicality, shit is gonna dominate
