Step in the Name of Love (Remix) is too damn good, but driving around Chicago the summer Trapped was coming out, waiting for WGCI to play the next part, and listening to people call in and talk about it is for sure one of my favorite music experiences of the decade. So I dunno.

yeah same here -- kinda bitter about the direction "Trapped" took both artistically and in terms of public reception, but for a minute it was so exciting

i would say either/or with the "In the Kitchen" original and remix, but then i love them both

R. Kelly's the type of artist that could make half of his albums singles, yet his albums are usually about 25% garbage, unfortunately. (50% incredible, 25% good, 25% terrible).

For instance, of all the tracks on Double Up, I have no idea why the horrendous "Rock Star" was released as a single.

Actually, it's usually less than that. More like 15% of the album ends up being terrible.

On Unfinished Business, both "Feelin' On Your Stereo" and "Pretty Girls" could have been singles.

cosign, these are my favorites. I Wish Remix (to all the homies that we lost) is my favorite FAVORITE, some of the saddest best stuff ever ("Why'd you have to get hit?/Where was I? What time was it?") & "U Saved Me" the first time I heard it on the radio fucked me up so bad I almost had to pull over. I think "the World's Greatest" is such a wonderful song & that probably gets my vote here.

oh man I haven't listened to this song in a long time. so fucking great. "And remember when you and me would say/We'd get up out this 'hood and everything would be ok?" this is one of those songs that when I'm listening to it, it's incomprehensible to me that anybody could not feel it

so i've been playing out 'tp-2.com' a bunch this past week -- i think it's equally as good as 'chocolate factory' -- not as cohesive or sonically consistent as CF & doesn't have anything as strong as the ignitions or the step in the name of loves -- but tracks like "strip for you", r&b thug" (such a timbo bite, but good!), "i decided" & "i wish (remix)" are monster album cuts
