You Love It, They Hate It (MUSIC EDITION)

I started a similar thread on I Love Comics a few years ago and figured I'd do the same here after outing myself in a private conversation as an unashamed fan of the following songs:

"Shattered Dreams" - Johnny Hates Jazz
"Wishing I Was Lucky" - Wet Wet Wet
"When Will I Be Famous?" - Bros

It isn't really analogous to a guilty pleasure because I don't feel at all guilty for liking these. What are some songs/band you like that you KNOW most of the people around you can't stand? Why are you into them?

Good Charlotte "The River"

I really despise the guys in the band, and most of the rest of their output, and I know my friends like to bag on them all the time, but I love "The River" unabashedly.

2 1/2 stars on AMG; I think it's great. Maybe it's one of those cases where a band does something a little different and you think "wait a minute--I like this better than their regular stuff." Or maybe I just like Jason more than Lou.
