Another time-wasting game, hoo-ray!
Let's make a chain using song titles that are equivalent to bands' or artists' names. The name has to be the *exact* song title (i.e. "Someday My Prince Will Come" > Prince doesn't count). No fair using Allmusic, but you can refer to your collection or your friends' collections.

Begin.......NOW!

Can: "Moonshake"
Moonshake: "Cranes"
Cranes: "Jewel"
Jewel: ????

Okay I cheated, but:

Jewel: "Little Sister"
Little Sister: "Millionaire"
Millionaire: ???

Best I can do from my own collection (and not continuing from these, I'm afraid) are two chains of three:
Alec Empire - 'Suicide'
Suicide - 'Ghost Rider'
Ghost Rider - 'Ride'
I'm sure someone who is a fan can continue that - or... REM - 'Lightnin' Hopkins'
Lightnin' Hopkins - The Howling Wolf
Howlin' Wolf - Louise
There may be fewer Louise fans here, at a guess. Actually, given the stray 'The' there... Prince Buster - 'Madness'
Madness - 'The Prince'
Prince - 'Charlie Parker'
Someone who made as many recordings as Bird must have produced one of a suitable title to continue that...

Wasn't that "Dorothy Parker?"

being totally unfair here, because it's more fun that way: Cash Money Millionaires: "Family Affair"
Family Affair: "All You Zombies"
Zombies: "Beechwood Park"
Beachwood Sparks: "The Hustler"
Smoothe da Hustler: "Dollar Bill"
Bushwick Bill (a.k.a. Dr. Wolfgang Von Bushwickin The Barbarian Mother Funky Stay High Dollar Billster): "Ever So Clear"
Everclear: ?

Prince did 'The Ballad Of Dorothy Parker' (on Sign O The Times), but I have a Paris 1987 bootleg on which a song is entitled 'Charlie Parker'.
