I wouldn't exactly called "Cold Rock a Party" underrated. That song seemed ubiquitous at the time. I associate her more to "Cha Cha Cha" and "Cappucino" but I guess I'm just showing my age.

She was a fun, down to earth host and entertaining rapper for the free "Rock! Like a Girl" event Saturday at the Kennedy Center curated by Beverly Bond (dj who runs music camps for girls). It featured young unknowns plus the annoying Jean Grae, retro MC Rapsody, French-Chilean rapper Ana Tijoux, corny hip-hop violinist Miri Ben-Ari, and divaesque Lauryn Hill. D.C.’s all-female go-go band Be’la Dona nicely backed up a few of the acts and sounded funky on their own.
