The ABBA Super Trouper / Visitors Poll - with bonus tracks

This gives an interesting vote from me. Because, even though I think that "The Visitors" is the superior of these two albums, and also has some wonderful bonus tracks, my all time favourite ABBA track is still "Lay All Your Love On Me", which stylistically would have fit in better on "The Visitors" than "Super Trouper" with its (then) ultra modern synthpop style.

The Winner Takes it All is as good as (if not superior to) anything on Blood on the Tracks

Yay, Geir! There are some hideously bad tracks on "Super Trouper".

It's no Visitors, but there's nothing I don't like on it. Both are very short records, but together they'd have made a wicked double album. Imagine "The Way Old Friends Do" resolving Visitors, such a bittersweet compromise.

it's not amazing I admit - a standard ABBA war march which pails compared to Soldiers (the Visitors equiv). I don't dislike it though.

I can barely bring myself to type "The Piper" and "Soldiers" in the same sentence. May God forgive me.

Two For the Price of One is too cute.

My attempt to make a CD-80 of the last three albums, plus extraneous b-sides and so on. This was really hard and I'm not sure I have it right yet. I think I made a mistake in choosing Lovelight over Lovers Live A Little Longer though it would then be about ten seconds too long for one disc. I also sacrificed The Day Before You Came for time reasons which a lot of people would disagree with.

I'm not even the biggest fan of the song but I firmly believe The Day Before You Came should end every ABBA comp

Doesn't Winner Takes It All fulfill that role? Have to remove two other songs from that lot to make room for TDBYC.
