"Slash" by Slash is so boring it's killing me. He clearly remembers next to nothing, and he likes to talk about amps. Best part so far: when he complains that the sauce on McRib sandwiches in Germany isn't as good as the McRib sauce in the US of A.

"Renegade" by Mark E Smith is supposedly horrible too which kinda stinks. I bet a good editor could have gotten a good book out of him.

"Gorillas in the Midwest," by Larry Humphries, keyboard player from Dreamboat Gorilla is complete dreck.

OTM. Of all the DBG autobiographies, Larry's is the only one I couldn't finish.

I thought that "I Have Two Sticks" by the drummer of Gay Dad was just covering old ground

puff puff post (uh oh I'm having a fantasy), Monday, 22 February 2010 21:47 (fifteen years ago)

"Killer!: The Life and Times of Jerry Lee Lewis". First half of the book is stuff everyone knows if they have even half an idea who JLL is. Second half is just an extended discography.

Dave Davies' 'Kink' is just bizarre. He refers to one sexual conquest as being "the queen of all the whores".

"Renegade" by Mark E Smith is supposedly horrible too

Supposedly? So you haven't actually read it?

(It's hilarious)

I was massively disappointed by Renegade... Really sloppy and not funny at all

No haven't read it, I just read reviews of Renegade which made it sound pretty tedious hence "supposedly". I'd give it a shot if I found a copy.
