"Gone" would be great if it weren't for the fact that JT's singing on it is borderline unlistenable. Other than that little detail, quite a good song indeed.

el nino is the name for a tropical dperession that forms in the pacific ocean every year and is responsible for heavy storms.

I assume "storming through the party" means "partying really heavily", so the person is saying that he/she is partying with all the intensity that el nino can bring by way of storms.
