It's probably fair to expect a few folk stalwarts (Carthy, Swarbrick, June Tabor, Maddie Prior et al), as well as new folkies like Eliza Carthy, Spiers & Boden and his boring son Teddy. More intriguingly, if his 1000 Years of Popular Music is anything to go by, we may well get some early music ensembles, as well as a bit of music hall, vocal jazz and Britney. Don't forget his interest in non-Western music and Islam either: that could throw up a few surprises. Fred Frith is a good bet, seeing as he's a Meltdown favourite - he played as part of the Ornette festival, and I wouldn't be surprised if he'd been involved in the Wyatt one. A focus on his soundtrack work would be interesting. Get Werner Herzog to compere it!
