haha -- a lot of my favorite songs from this era are probably clouded by picking what i loved when i was 13 -- i was just listening to "young'n" in the car today tho

لوووووووووووووووووووول (lex pretend), Saturday, 6 March 2010 08:20 (fifteen years ago)

World's Greatest. If it can't even win an ILM poll, then the whole song is just a lie.

seandalai, Monday, 8 March 2010 02:56 (fifteen years ago)

no votes for "Freedom"?

Inculcate a spirit of serfdom in children (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Monday, 8 March 2010 02:58 (fifteen years ago)

bouncin back

groovemaaan, Monday, 8 March 2010 16:00 (fifteen years ago)

Automatic thread bump. This poll is closing tomorrow.

System, Wednesday, 10 March 2010 00:01 (fifteen years ago)

i chop rocks the size of mentos

hobbes, Wednesday, 10 March 2010 00:11 (fifteen years ago)

Going with Mystikal; also like Craig David and OutKast; am suprised by how many country titles up there (a couple of which I expect I'd like) are drawing a blank for me.

xhuxk, Wednesday, 10 March 2010 00:17 (fifteen years ago)

Automatic thread bump. This poll's results are now in.

System, Thursday, 11 March 2010 00:01 (fifteen years ago)

blind outkast voting imo

J0rdan S., Thursday, 11 March 2010 00:02 (fifteen years ago)

im nearly positive i voted fabo (legitly 1 of my fav songs too), j0rdan did u get talked out of it?

johnny crunch, Thursday, 11 March 2010 01:02 (fifteen years ago)

no i porb forgot to vote

J0rdan S., Thursday, 11 March 2010 02:16 (fifteen years ago)

prob*

J0rdan S., Thursday, 11 March 2010 02:17 (fifteen years ago)

lol that is much preferred 2 caving from peer pressure

johnny crunch, Thursday, 11 March 2010 02:25 (fifteen years ago)

also in these polls, i still have a tendency to vote for something before reading the whole list, so i might've been the one who voted for craig david tbh

J0rdan S., Thursday, 11 March 2010 02:31 (fifteen years ago)

also excuseable, i have good memories of that song tbh

johnny crunch, Thursday, 11 March 2010 02:48 (fifteen years ago)

blind outkast voting imo

Outkast's hits from Stankonia and on have a lot of crossover appeal, so even middle aged mostly-hip-hop-negative people like me. But more generally, I can easily see how people who aren't necessarily big hip-hop fans would go for them over Mystikal or Nas, etc. etc.

_Rudipherous_, Thursday, 11 March 2010 04:10 (fifteen years ago)

But yes, blind OutKast voting.

Please Do Not Swagga Jack Me (Matos W.K.), Thursday, 11 March 2010 05:16 (fifteen years ago)

wait are you guys saying this because there's another song on the list that's better than "the whole world" or because you don't think it's a good single

samosa gibreel, Thursday, 11 March 2010 05:27 (fifteen years ago)

because there are 10+ better songs and it's just highly average anyway

J0rdan S., Thursday, 11 March 2010 05:32 (fifteen years ago)

But yes, blind OutKast voting.

So sorry for liking the wrong hit songs. (I did get some exposure to mainstream radio at the time and this song is one that stood out in a good way.)
