I'm currently loving her second album Elephants...Teeth Sinking Into Heart, one disc of achey ballads and one of snarly rock songs, a distinct advance on her debut (which still had plenty of fine songs). She has this gorgeous velvety voice and she pours gallons of emotion into it.

i like most of that record too. at times she does sound an awful lot like a fiona apple clone but still good.

her first one, happenstance, is quite nice. maybe better than the second at times - it's highs are higher with the exception of "elephants". "worn me down" is a great pop song and "i want you" is a lovely bit of klezmer pop. 1963 and 'under my skin' are also quite nice.
she's got a great tone.
