I took a big grocery bag full of CDs to Reckless to sell. They bought all of them except for the following. Which one is the best?

I was thinking about a CD gifting thread, cause I have a bunch of stuff that I couldn't get a shop to buy and can't be arsed with setting them up on EBay. Does anything exist on ILX like that already?

Yeah go for it. I'm all for a garage-sale/trade type thread.

That Seam record is awesome!

he's always been a bit of an anti-climb Max (jon /via/ chi 2.0), Tuesday, 23 March 2010 16:56 (fifteen years ago)

Okay great, I'll start one when I get home and collate the out pile.

The Seam and SWTLJ records are both really good, I'm just selling all my CDs. This was pretty much the last batch.

i saw stlj on one of their last shows, wasn't super into it. i remember the drummer looking very stiff and hard to watch. i heard that record at a friend's house a long time ago though and enjoyed then.

I know I have enjoyed that Sweep rekkid in the distant past but not if I own it... maybe I sold it tbh

Not a musician, but I thought of Justin Fashanu for some reason (DJ Mencap), Tuesday, 23 March 2010 17:23 (fifteen years ago)

I never saw STLJ but I saw the sax player/singer's next band, called Zzzz, who were pretty good, though a little less math rock/punk. Then I think he moved to Costa Rica.

they also splintered into check engine, who weren't so hot but who did introduce me, by way of their support band, to zu - and therefore a lengthy love affair.
