The eagerly anticipated follow-up to 2007's Cart Before the Whores will be released on April 12th. The Derbies renew their relationship with Gung Ho records in the UK and Europe. Expect dates for a tour of summer fêtes soon.

The white horse looks like it's come back from a gap year in Thailand. I'm not sure I approve.

Pitchfork were streaming Gallopin' Man the other day actually. Sounded compressed and autotuned to fuck, which is a real shame from this of all bands.

I was hoping they'd further in the direction they explored on the Stirrup and Dance EP but sadly not.

Did anything come of that fêted tour with New Young Pony Club last summer?

Heard rumours about some major nosebag sessions, hence the label withdrawing them from the Cheltenham Festival this year.
