I went for Comfort Me just above Piano Fire. They are probably my two favourite songs of theirs.

yeah "Comfort Me" is awesome, voting for that one too

listened to this and "Comfort Me" is still the favorite but "More Yellow Birds" is pretty dope, good closing chapter to the Captain Howdy Trilogy

this is my fave sparklehorse album ... might be some better songs on the earlier ones, but this one hangs together as a whole the best for me. "Sea of Teeth" is the one leaping out at me right now ...

Sea of teeth and title track, btw

HOT DISH THYME MACHINE (jjjusten), Thursday, 8 April 2010 23:07 (fifteen years ago)

Oh, should've voted for something. When I think of this the first track, Gold Day and King of Nails really grab me, so any of those could have an extra vote. It's pretty sad how all the albums seem to have dimishing turn-outs. (I haven't even heard anything after this record :( )

Not many votes. Little Fat Babies was my pick, though the title track plays in my mind from time to time. Good album.

Duke Newsom (DavidM), Thursday, 8 April 2010 23:38 (fifteen years ago)

thirteen years pass...

every song on this album deserves 500 votes
