I just got a $20 Target gift-card (they have a surprisingly vast indie music collection, but online) and have been thinking about the following:

A Sunny Day In Glasgow - Ashes Grammar
Bjork - Post
Boards of Canada - Geogaddi
Slint - Spiderland
Panda Bear - Person Pitch

or better yet, take a look at my last.fm and try coming up w/ something:

as is apparent, MBV is and remains my favorite band (twice now have held "Top Listener" throne, har har har)... but I'd like to shy away from any further shoegaze, but still remain in that "realm" of musical approach. If I'm making sense.

thankz goiz

according to your last.fm you are listening to MPP now, so:

Panda Bear - Person Pitch

which is a solid record

i've listened to some Slint & none of the other stuff except for the Panda Bear. but I can totally say that the Panda Bear is worth it

There's a surprising amount of crossover between MBV and Boards of Canada, and Geogaddi is a fine, fine album so that gets my vote.

Yeah, Panda Bear would totally feel among friends on your last.fm page.

Got Panda Bear as it got 3.5 votes, versus singular votes for everything else.

Thanks doodz.

I intend on getting the rest of those albums sometime in the future anyway.
