I interviewed Glen Kotche a few years ago and all he wanted to talk about was gamelans.

I think that for most serious Wilco fans the fact that Wilco is playing is enough of a draw. Their fans are pretty hardcore and the prospect of spending a weekend with the band is probably enticement enough.

The price doesn't seem that extreme either.

Anyone going this year? Wilco/Yo La Tengo/Os Mutantes/Neko Case at Mass MoCA sounds pretty perfect to me. Great price too.

Wilco and Billy Bragg will finally perform the songs of Mermaid Avenue together, live for one night only on June 26, 2026 in North Adams, MA.

Pretty cool, and unexpected. I'd love to go to that festival someday.

I've been twice and will be there in 2026! Lots of good stuff to choose from, even if I lost interest in Tweedy's output a decade ago.
