Whadya think? I love their first two albums with their Bad Seeds influence. Their newest, "Coconut", is nothing like that - sort of psych-punk but really all over the place. Starts off great with the first 4 tracks then loses a bit of focus but it's growing on me.

the first one didn't make a huge impression on me but i liked quite a lot of derdang derdang. the guy has a very appealing voice.

I like Coconut enough - twisted sound.

Got recommended these guys by Spotify based on Clinic, which is right in some interesting ways. I like the 2nd album best, and there is some sort of harsher/more jagged/more postpunk Clinic thing going on. Like I probably wouldn't make the comparison myself while explaining the band, but it's there. Anyway, fun find for the day. They don't seem to have any press in the US?

I really loved the first record, but the second one didn't do as much for me. Are they still around?

By first record, I meant Derdang Derdang...because I'd forgotten about Fur. lol

The recent single on this page (near the bottom) is pretty hot-shit actually:

Duke Garwood was in this band, right? His records rule. Most recently collaborated with Mark Lanegan on an album called Black Pudding but his solo albums are where it's at. Outstanding guitar player. I think that Josh T Pearson guy has, err, heard a few of Duke's records.

Just heard the new one, "Wild Crush". It feels half-baked, and the sax doesn't help. Apparently a key member left the band - it shows.

don't mind the album but it's not a patch on DD

also 'in white relief' REALLY reminds me of silver apples 'i have known love', melodically
