Mads

who's always getting head from the commissioner (Eric H.), Monday, 19 April 2010 00:27 (fifteen years ago)

Hey--probably a better overall bunch than the first postscript: 1. "Jump Around," 2. "I Can't Make You Love Me," 3. "Mind Playing Tricks on Me" (possible winner), 4. "Hunger Strike," 5. "Kiss from a Rose," and--just to mortify xhuxk--6. "I'll Be You." Please not "Justify My Love." Doubly please not "Losing My Religion."

"Kiss from a Rose" has to be one of my top ten faves songs.

kissogram powers (Abbott), Monday, 19 April 2010 00:34 (fifteen years ago)

"I'll Be Missing You" easily. Then "Losing My Religion."

Kevin John Bozelka, Monday, 19 April 2010 03:30 (fifteen years ago)

"Mind Playing Tricks On Me," easy.

Also-Rans: "Jump Around," "How I Could Just Kill A Man," "I Can't Make You Love Me," "Little Walter," "Justify My Love," "Losing My Religion," maybe a couple others.

Better than the last list, at least.

xhuxk, Monday, 19 April 2010 03:44 (fifteen years ago)

Oh yeah -- "Mr Jones" another high also ran for me, believe it or not.

xhuxk, Monday, 19 April 2010 03:45 (fifteen years ago)

And yeah, "I'll Be You" mortifies me, but not as much as "Hunger Strike."

xhuxk, Monday, 19 April 2010 03:46 (fifteen years ago)

"kiss from a rose" is legitimately one of the best songs ever -- that said i voted for ice cube

"Mind Playing Tricks On Me"

Euler, Monday, 19 April 2010 05:26 (fifteen years ago)

Sorry, you're only allowed one mortification per post...I'm rescinding my fourth-place vote for "Hunger Strike." I got my grunge supergroups mixed up--it's Mad Season's "River of Deceit" I really like. "Hunger Strike" is just okay; I like it better than most Pearl Jam, but for me, that's a low bar. I'm sure people used to get Blind Faith and Crosby, Stills & Nash mixed up all the time too. Proceed apace.

Good tunes:

"The Look"
"I'll Be You"
"Losing My Religion"
"If I Ruled the World"
"Mind Playing Tricks on Me"

Deee-lighted that Marsh noticed Prince's "Money Don't Matter 2 Night." Went with "It Was a Good Day" over LL and 2 Live Crew.

If loving Hunger Strike is wrong, I don't want to be right.

Dude sure picked a crappy Replacements song.
