new book store opened down the street yesterday - raven books from northampton they sell mostly remainders/overstock - and i was siked to find a copy of LOVE SAVES THE DAY by tim lawrence. it will go on my shelf next to TURN THE BEAT AROUND. i don't read music books that much but i am a sucker for some subjects.

I'm reading a book right now called Our Noise: the history of Merge records, or something like that. I thin it raps up the entire indie rock thing incredibly well.
Another book that comes to mind is one called "Mansion On The Hill". I cant think of the author at the moment though.
