This is my song for real, no doubt 2
Said the DJ's making me feel thugged out 2
Put your arms around me, I'm feelin' on your booty 1
Have your own job, put your hands up 1
And your hair weave looking kind of pretty 1
Rollers wanna roll 1
Ballers wanna ball 1
Playas wanna play 0
Hey pretty mama how you doing? 0
And if you got some cash, then put your hands up 0
You wanna get drunk, then put your hands up 0
If it's your birthday, then put your hands up 0
The way you back it up on me baby, lord have mercy 0
Said I'm just in town for the weekend 0
Looking for a little trouble to get into 0
Baby tell me what you're drinking, and I got you, ooh 0

opener kills me, like as if there is some debate going on about who the song belongs to

"own job" for me but I really love this jam

for me 'this is my song for real, no doubt' isn't really some 'what is R even talking about' moment - doesn't everybody say when they hear a song they really like 'dude that is my fucking jam right there' or some variant thereof? that's what I think he means - 'love this groove so much'

I will make an embarrassing confession: I love this song and have listened to it probably 100+ times and I have always thought the first line of the song was "This is my song for real long dances." I realize this makes no sense and doesn't even sound right. I also realize this will discredit me in the sleep/viking debate but I just had to come clean.

congratulations (n/a), Tuesday, 4 May 2010 17:58 (fifteen years ago)

will pay u $10 to perform the song on record with those lyrics

I didn't think it was possible for R. Kelly to melt my brain anymore after "Trapped In The Closet" and yet here we are.
