This poll is the fault of the Most ridiculous "news" item on Pitchfork regarding the horribly overhyped crapfest known as The National's High Violet thread for somehow getting Barenaked Ladies lodged in my mind. Anyway, the list is certainly, um, evocative of a certain era. Pointless fact: there are seven American Pie films. Pointlesser fact: Songs without numbers appeared in the film, but not the soundtrack.
