Readers! Catch Tommy Boyd's Human Zoo show on TalkSport (Sundays 10 pm-2 am). Free-form phone-in with audio samples - someone's just got Thurston Moore's free-improv ("Commercial suicide!") broadcast over national radio, and Boyd raved over it! Last week it was "Kill Or Be Killed" by Bloodclaat Gangsta Youth ("Brilliant, for that sort of genre!" quipped the ex-Magpie permed host). Who's doing this - surely not one of us? Carmody, is this you?

(P.S. to Robin C - I do have the Skits LP; remind me to furnish you with my thoughts in the nearness of future. Definitely in a different league from Ty, slightly patchy but better than Spooks (two fab singles, the rest of the album doesn't keep up, alas. And doesn't the Spooks girl sound like Kim Wilde?).

Nope. But I'm impressed that I'm considered enough of a media assassin to be considered.

In fact I'd never heard of this programme until you mentioned it. It sounds terrific, though everything else I hear of TalkSport sounds like someone's placed a mike in a Basildon pub and broadcast a discussion about football to the nation.
