Britishers and other interested parties, where do you think our boy Josh will finish in Saturday's final? Incidentally he's 12th in the running order, coming straight after Greece's thumping "OPA!", so there's a strong possibility that everyone will have forgotten what the song even sounds like once all the acts have performed.

It's between France and UK for last, I think. At least the French song is memorable (if emetic), so Josh shades it.

I'm going to be generous and say 16th, given that this year there are a lot of forgettable entries. The song has been reworked quite a bit since 'Your Country Needs You'. But if he has some kind of Jemini type technical fault then he could be last.

The thing is, every song that qualifies from a semifinal has already convinced some people to vote for it. Josh, on the other hand, probably wouldn't have qualified...

Spain will get 12 from Andorra and high points from Portugal, and maybe some scattered jury love because it's a "proper song". Belarus, well, somebody voted for it last night...

But yeah, either would be a deserving lastist.

Andorra aren't in the competition this year, so Spain should come last, juries notwithstanding. Belarus might sing better in the final, mind you. Juries probably will see a dress rehearsal and vote on the "song" (which is still crap).

Voted 21st. Direct qualifies usually do badly unless they are really special and "That Sounds Good To Me" sounds rather boring indeed to me. Might have worked out better if they had perfected the 1988 PWL sound instead of sounding partly "contemporary", which is something Pete Waterman doesn't have the ability to do anyway.
