LONG LIVE HEAVY METAL!
― Colonel Poo, Saturday, 23 June 2007 02:26 (eighteen years ago)
Is this band good, Colonel Poo?
I sure dig Tim Ellison's festival of capital letters above.
― Bimble, Saturday, 23 June 2007 02:28 (eighteen years ago)
FUCK YEAH!
Get Tranceformer/Future Language. Took me a while to find it but in the end I found it on Amazon somewhere.
― Colonel Poo, Saturday, 23 June 2007 02:30 (eighteen years ago)
I'll check it out on s111sk, thanks!
― Bimble, Saturday, 23 June 2007 02:34 (eighteen years ago)
Hey how come you're awake, Colonel? Usually the Brits leave me lonely about this time of day.
― Bimble, Saturday, 23 June 2007 02:36 (eighteen years ago)
Drunk, innit
― Colonel Poo, Saturday, 23 June 2007 02:37 (eighteen years ago)
You freakin' betcha. In fact, sometimes it's ME at ungodly night hours waitin' for the Brits to wake up!
― Bimble, Saturday, 23 June 2007 02:47 (eighteen years ago)
Woah about that story in the liner notes to Future Language with him tryin to fight some dudes after busting his leg in half, jumping off a car on PCP or whatever.
― gnarly sceptre, Sunday, 24 June 2007 22:14 (eighteen years ago)
future language is good but red resistor crushes.
― GOTT PUNCH II HAWKWINDZ, Monday, 25 June 2007 01:27 (eighteen years ago)
that's a weird choice!
― Tim Ellison, Monday, 25 June 2007 01:58 (eighteen years ago)
red resistor is, actually, very good, but i don't know how much i was into his band at that time.
― Tim Ellison, Monday, 25 June 2007 01:59 (eighteen years ago)
i listened to Future Language this morning. i can see why peeps like it, but just wasn't my thing. mostly because i'm a sissy.
but a friend recently gave me side project Movie Viewers. i was trying to digitize it and found a song i liked, and then recorded it, and when i relistened to it, didn't really like it. then i was just reading that it was recorded with a 'double groove'. depending on where you lay the needle, you'll get a different song. pretty amazing. http://mutant-sounds.blogspot.com/2007/02/rescue-1otto-von-ruggins-robert-crash.html

― jaxon, Thursday, 20 December 2007 20:24 (eighteen years ago)
I have that movie viewers thing, so confusing. And how's it related to Von Lmo?
― dan selzer, Thursday, 20 December 2007 21:05 (eighteen years ago)
I'm not really sure. Tim Ellison told me one time
― jaxon, Thursday, 20 December 2007 21:06 (eighteen years ago)
Otto Von Ruggins is part of Von LMO
― jaxon, Thursday, 20 December 2007 21:08 (eighteen years ago)
oh, another weird thing about this record is it says it's 45rpm, but it's not
― jaxon, Thursday, 20 December 2007 21:52 (eighteen years ago)
I guess he plays on Future Language or something? Von LMO is the guy's name.
― dan selzer, Thursday, 20 December 2007 21:58 (eighteen years ago)
might be a new thing?

I wish I could find my copy of Motorbooty that had an interview with him. When I saw it, I assumed that it was just another MB hoax.
