I resisted opening this thread because I love piano so much but also have been so floored by strings that I assumed I would get pissed at anybody coming down on either side of the question

it's not really a question I could answer because it kind of exposes the silliness of q's like "is x better than y?" as far as sounds/tones/instruments go
