I began before Christmas an attempt at getting ILXors to cover songs from the Anthology in whatever manner they chose. I got a few submissions, but would love it if we could really work that out. So please do it, send me an mp3 of yourself singing.

Watch the lyrics; the transcriptions in that book are sometimes terrible. I actually recorded a version of "John the Revelator" using that book as a guide, and later listenings revealed how wacky-off-base it was, but the damage is done. Thanks to Oak Publications I'm forever captured on wax singin' "Out of the flock, he said, 'You are Jews'."

I wanted to do something like this a few years ago, except with songs fromt he Threepenny Opera.
