25.04.01 - ladder incident forces arnold to cancel poptones are sad to announce that arnold will no longer be playing radio4 on may 2nd. it would have been a welcome return after their great show there last year but guitarist saxby has gone and fallen off a ladder and done his wrist in, it could have been worse though just ask fans of rod hull and emu!!

Hysterically, this is exactly the same thing that happened to Alfie last year at ATP... (though footie shenanigans cause the injury) though I must say, they soldiered on, broken wrist and all.

However, the good news is, they've replaced Arnold (what's with all these name bands?) with the far superior Captain Soul (well, if shoegazery janglepop is your bag...)

arnold should not allow the don henley wannabe to sing any more songs. i got their record for 50 cents and he sealed the notion in my head that i had overpaid. the other guy's voice is pretty too bad he's stuck in a classic rawk band.
