The one song out of all this I've listened to (cover of Skip Spence's "Broken Heart") was pleasant but didn't inspire me to want to listen to an all covers vanity project.

i think the idea seems fun ... maybe more for the participants, I don't know. If Beck asked me to help him record some album, i'd say yes.
