so sweet it kinda hurts my teeth! but i dig them. sarah records + stereolab kinda stuff. you know the drill. but they were good at it. not mesmerizing like my beloved sugar plant, but good twee when you are in the mood for twee. listening to their albums Piccolo and Romantico. great twee song titles too, which is half the battle: "painty paint pots", "honeydew blue", "eggs in my head", "viva toyshoplifters", and my personal favorite, "we love carrying candies(song for ants)". hahahaha!

there could be a great boxed-set of 90's japanese bachelor pad electronica twee pop stuff. someone get on that. or maybe there is one. i would buy it if i saw it.

Ha, I used to really like this band! Although at this point the main thing I remember is the song with the "busy busy busy" chorus, which still gets stuck in my head at least once a month (and/or whenever someone says the word "busy.")
