Haulin Oates, Bobby, Beatles, Wu-Tang

iatee, Thursday, 8 July 2010 02:02 (fourteen years ago)

Bush, Dylan, Beatles, Brown

flipped a coin for Bush vs. H&O, don't really care about either.

Grisly Addams (WmC), Thursday, 8 July 2010 02:09 (fourteen years ago)

Hall and Oates, Bob Dylan, Madonna, Wu-Tang Clan

I went ahead and chose Madonna over the Beatles because I've been a fan since I was 10. I didn't even get into the Beatles until I was into my 20s.

Johnny Fever, Thursday, 8 July 2010 02:38 (fourteen years ago)

Bush, Dylan, Beatles, Wu

Please don't make me choose between the beatles and the clan

Bush, Dylan, Beatles, Brown, without hesitation.

Euler, Thursday, 8 July 2010 06:06 (fourteen years ago)

Hall and Oates, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, James Brown

Why can't I put the Wu in over Dylan?

The Reverend, Thursday, 8 July 2010 06:08 (fourteen years ago)

why can't i vote for Bob over James?

Boo Radley (Bee OK), Thursday, 8 July 2010 06:12 (fourteen years ago)

لوووووووووووووووووووول (lex pretend), Thursday, 8 July 2010 08:24 (fourteen years ago)

(i don't actually like mbv but i don't actively hate them like i do dylan)

(anyone minded not to vote for madonna because of how she's not as good as she was and is a sorta embarrassing public figure these days should consider paul mccartney)

لوووووووووووووووووووول (lex pretend), Thursday, 8 July 2010 08:26 (fourteen years ago)

Wow, my answers are 3/4 the same as the Lex's, this is truly a strange day. Going JB rather than Wu-Tang though.

The Reverend, Thursday, 8 July 2010 15:38 (fourteen years ago)

Why can't I vote for Bob James?

Oh, wait...

Moodles, Thursday, 8 July 2010 15:46 (fourteen years ago)

I voted Bush, Dylan, Beatles, Wu-Tang. James Brown probably deserves it more than Wu-Tang, but I just love them so much.

High fives all around! I thought I'd be the only one brazen enough to vote for this.

Is that a Danzig in your pocket or are you just happy to HAIL SATAN? (jjjusten), Thursday, 8 July 2010 16:14 (fourteen years ago)

Wu-Tang vs. JB was really tough, the rest were easy

Same here ^

a fucking stove just fell on my foot. (Colonel Poo), Thursday, 8 July 2010 16:17 (fourteen years ago)

Bush, Dylan, Beatles, Brown, without hesitation.

― Euler, Thursday, July 8, 2010 2:06 AM (12 hours ago)

The same for me, but I did hesitate over Kate Bush vs. Hall & Oates.

strong boy burger (KMS), Thursday, 8 July 2010 18:42 (fourteen years ago)

H&O (so close), dylan (not that close by volume), beatles (aside from like 5-6 early singles, shes more like meh-donna to me), wu-tang (tough tough tough one)

69, Thursday, 8 July 2010 19:21 (fourteen years ago)

this was a buncha choices between stuff i'm not hugly into and were almost arbitrary choices, and then between two monoliths--i tried to vote against james brown but it brought pain to my heart and i could not.

makes da cool chewbaccas in pain sounds STAR WARS (arby's), Friday, 9 July 2010 03:26 (fourteen years ago)

dammit, I think I accidentally voted H&O, Dylan, Beatles, Wu-Tang and meant to vote for James Brown. But the last one was the close one for me so maybe my subconscious was doing the voting for me. I think I rate JB more highly in some objective sense but actually play WTC more.

Guayaquil (eephus!), Friday, 9 July 2010 12:44 (fourteen years ago)

Went for Bush, MBV, Madonna, Wu.

As with most other people it seems, I found the last decision to be far and away the hardest.

emil.y, Friday, 9 July 2010 12:48 (fourteen years ago)

eephus, I can +1 James Brown and -1 WTC from the total if you'd like

iatee, Friday, 9 July 2010 13:26 (fourteen years ago)

Good idea.

As long as you are fixing stuff, I think I hit the wrong button and voted for hall and Oates 24 times so just go ahead and fix that when the results come in if you don't mind

SAIL HATIN' (jjjusten), Friday, 9 July 2010 14:24 (fourteen years ago)

The same for me, but I did hesitate over Kate Bush vs. Hall & Oates.

I wasn't sure which way I was going to go on those two either. It took me a while to understand the poll system and I was frantically scanning over it looking for a way to vote for both Kate Bush and Hall & Oates.

Kate Bush, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, James Brown

goth (crüt), Saturday, 10 July 2010 11:50 (fourteen years ago)

I kinda regret voting Madge. I like the Beatles earlier stuff plenty, I just find Beatles pushers near unbearable.

ain't too proud to blog (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 10 July 2010 12:00 (fourteen years ago)

LOVE early madonna but the beatles released more great music imo so it was a no brainer for me

goth (crüt), Saturday, 10 July 2010 12:02 (fourteen years ago)

Hall and Oates, Bob Dylan, Beatles, James Brown

(And only H&O-vs.-Kate was close, because I'm not a fan of either.)
