'Bizarre Love Triangle', closely followed by 'Burning Down The House'.

"Dancing With Myself" and "I'll Melt With You" are the ones most likely to get me dancing goofy in the car or at a party, so one of those.

I recall "Forever young" making #1 on their alltime 300 list..

billstevejim, Sunday, 11 July 2010 04:05 (fifteen years ago)

It's strange... looking at just the top 20 seemed sort of banal.

I clicked over to the link of the top 200, and the sheer volume of songs that I hadn't thought about in years, and that were important once, made me feel quite sentimental. I grew up a lot during the '80s, and songs significant to all of those phases were amply represented on the list.

(Here, I voted for "Don't You," not because it's great, but because it best exemplified my mood now and my attitude towards this era.)

main beef w/this list is lack of black artists, save Eddy Grant

They used to play "Pass The Dutchie" on occasion.

I prolley would've voted White Wedding...greatest bubblegum hit of the 80s.

I've never heard Killing Joke on commercial radio.

they get half a black point for ub40, no? but the living colour oversight is tragic.
